Talks & Presentations

Ibiza Kidz & The Parent Whisperer NY

Is proud to present a stimulating and informative talk with

              Susan Nason

based on the approach described in the classic book

by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish

“How to Talk so Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk”

For more than thirty-five years, the book and method have been enthusiastically praised by parents and professionals around the world for its down-to-earth and respectful approach that makes relationships with children of all ages less stressful and more rewarding.

In this interactive workshop, we will engage in a discussion about the challenges that arise when raising children. We will explore skills and techniques proven effective to encourage autonomy, engage cooperation, and problem-solving. We will learn practical, spiritual, and therapeutic approaches to raising children and leave with concrete skills that can be applied immediately at home.

Learn how to:

  • Engage your child’s willing cooperation
  • Cope with your child’s negative feelings – frustration, disappointment, anger
  • Express your anger without being hurtful
  • Set firm limits and still maintain goodwill
  • Use alternatives to punishment that teach and promote self-discipline
  • Praise in a way that will promote your child’s self-esteem
  • Encourage age-appropriate autonomy
